capt.Tony ty for ruining my day lol what exactly do they expect the party boat guys to fish for in october. theres not a big enough business for blues. the porgy rules look more draconian than the sea bass and we may be allowed 1 slippery bass. unbelieveble truly and utterly disgraceful, i cannot wait to march on da capital. i bet there will be some boat sales soon enough. I am sure you and captain Adam and the rest of the rfa board will be raising hell and thank you for it.
This is so, so scary. 60 days of fishing for a recovered species! What about those species that aren't even close, fluke 80%, by their standard. Be afraid, be very afraid. Lunatics, guessing their way through. Draconian methods being used to obtain statistics which are sealing our fate. If this isn't a wake up call, I don't know what is.
Oh well, maybe we can hope the weakfish cycle has a strong year in 2010. Wait a minute, that's right, only one keeper allowed.
Had enough yet?
We had better $tand up today, or we will definitely be $tepped on tomorrow. Donate now to the orgs. that ARE fighting for us NOW.
"We must, indeed, all hang together or assuredly we shall all hang alone"... Ben Franklin
Ole Benny made that qoute before the signing of the Declaration of Independence. How profound! Channel your inner rebel, become a fishing patriot.
RFA and Ssfff fighting today for your future tomorrow. Donate today.
How do you choose to hang?

I spoke to a Capt of a snapper boat in the Gulf of Mexico. He said that 3 years ago there were over (1200) snapper boats. Today there are (61). That's really scary.
We really can't let this slide past us.
