Stuffed Crabs
Torta Alimasag ( Philipine )
2 Dz. Blue claw Crabs
( save the outer shell )
1 small Onion ( diced )
2 Garlic Cloves ( diced )
2 Med Lrg Tomatoes ( diced )
2 lrg Potatoes ( diced )
10 Jumbo Shrimp Peeled and Chopped
1 egg
Boil Crabs, pick all the meat out, sautee onion, and garlic then add Tomatoes
and the Potatoes,cook til almost tender,add Shrimp give it a stir, cook 1 minute
and add Crab meat .Let cool after its cool add the egg as a binder.
Stuff the outer shell with the mixture, make a batter coat the mixture.
In a large skillet heat 1/2 inch of olive oil, Place the Crabs batter side down,
fry til golden brown enjoy!
Extra filling can be used to make pot stickers ( Wontons )
