In a full med depth aluminum hotel pan.Set up 1.5 cups of xtra virgin oil on med heat.Add about 25-40 garlic cloves chopped. Shake pan and rotate 180 degrees until golden line crabs lenthwise in garlic oil-raw(I preferr to clean them raw first)shake a little and turn again.Dust top pretty good with ol bay and sprinkle lightly with dry oregano or Italian seasoning(which ever you like more) add a can of your favorite beer and shake and turn again.leave on grill until the crabs are red and broth is simmering.Serve with some nice hard water crusty bread. If you want to boil some kind of pasta you could serve this sauce over it,just add one more beer.Enjoy:)

Making me hungry!:p

Any reports of North Jersey supermarkets carrying blue claws? For those of us that are lazy or short on time.;)

I remember times as a kid in Gilford Park. You could fill up a 5 gallon bucket using 6 hand lines in about 2 hours.

Just go to Crab Kings in Newark, not sure how much for a bushel, but they have them cheaper than the supermarkets.

Or try Seabras (se-a-bras) supermarket in Newark. Earlier in the year they were live crabs for $10.oo a dozen.

I have seen them at seabras in harrison, but they were all females.....not that they arent allowed to sell them, but for some reason the females gross me out. I buy my eels for bass fishing at seabras though.....cheap as hell
