:p out and about doing the trout thing this weekend with water up and alot of spots running high. Fished close to home this weekend at my favorite gem stream of nj in my book! Plenty of leftovers around fishing the pocket water and small riffs. Browns and bows for the most part with two good ones this weekend. Today was a day to remember for me I just had to share with you guys… I’m fishing the pool get a little guy first couple casts… couple casts later I roll a big fish on the fly rod.. I’m beyond aggravated now lol ten casts later I stick this piggy again (unless it was a different fish not sure…) runs all over the deep hole takes off down stream getting into the backing now and made a quick decision to jump off the high dive hit bottom bounce up chase the thing down stream my upstate my instincts kick in now I yell coming down!!!!!! Hah end up in the big hole a guy fishing nets the thing for me… she’s in the net I take the hook out.. going for a pic she shook once and outta my hands back to where she was going anyways. Love it! A day I won’t forget! If the angler that netted this thing happens to see this thanks again man! I owe ya!
