Another decent trip

Friend Mike and I took advantage of yesterdays nice weather and light winds for half a day of fishing. Waited until noon for air temps to rise. Again, perch and crappie seems a little early on this lake, marked them but no hits on the jig and bobber or small crank baits. Water was a bit colder than Tuesday but bass were still active close to shore. Fish are tight to the banks where there's a drop off or some structure like fallen trees or rock piles. Nothing out deeper. A parallel presentation to the shoreline versus casting out worked as the bass were cruising along the base of the drop. A few very quality fish. Same as Tuesday, slow retrieve was key, small mouth were a bit more aggressive, large mouth were just sucking the soft plastic in to the point you seldom felt the actual hit. Few pics.
