Today's striper jigging could be my last one this year as I have family trip to Newport, RI during Thanks givings and plan to go down to Fl right after Thanksgivings before tuna trip to PV from Dec 6.
I knew weather is not favorable. When I went to Captree, the Capree Pride and Laura Lee didn't sail. But fortunately the Fishfinder did sail with light crowd.
Fishing was fabulous. I read high hook yesterday was about 30 and I thought that is almost impossible to catch on a party boat. But indeed I caught over 30 striper today. After catching a dozen on diamond jig I switched to 5oz Al Gag jig. Striper love the jig !!
I must caught about 2 dozens with the jig.
What a day. 🙂
