Hey gang, we had a nice comfortable crowd of 14 anglers today. I was a little worried about the SW wind today, but it didn't matter. We stayed local all day, close to our dock and had very good fishing with slot fish, keepers and big trophy fish. Ben had the port corner covered again. Landed some nice trophies and caught a nice slot fish. Jeff, fishing the starboard corner, caught the biggest trophy on the boat today. Somewhere in the mid-30s. Todd and his boys had their limit up in the bow of 6 and 15 year old Anthony Romamello from Staten Island officially caught his first striped bass keeper. I always love to see the boys catch their first striped bass. It's totally awesome. Our best fishing was first thing this morning and then we got an afternoon bite. Even me, Steven and Joey get to take home some dinner. All the action was caught on diamond jigs again. 47s with green tails were hot today. This has been a great start to the bass season. Do not miss out. We are fishing every day 7:30 a.m. sharp to 2:30 p.m. Fare is $90; $10 for spinning rods, if needed. Jigs and lures for sale on the boat if you need it. Looking forward to tomorrow.
