Our canyon trips were very good again this week.
Gambler was out on the edge Mon/Tues and Weds/Thurs this week. She is on her way back from another trip this afternoon and leaving again tonight.
Most of the action has been during daylight hours.
Our last trip we caught good numbers of 40 to 70lb yellowfin, 40 to 70+ lb longfin (We had a longfin that may have been a state record at over 80lbs). We also caught mahi at night and at the end of the day, some of the guys that had their tuna limit, dropped down for tiles and did a job pulling them in as well.
We should have a report from todays canyon trip shortly.
It's been a great canyon season with lots of good fishing on a diversity of species.
Our striped bass trips will begin on Friday, Nov 1st, sailing everyday, 7:30AM till 2:30PM --Except Mondays
*All our trips are sailing at reduced capacity for your comfort
*Heated/AC cabin with hot-food galley
*Book on-line or show-up at the dock --if we are not fully booked, we will gladly get you on-board. Suggested to call first at 732-295-7569
*You do not need a fishing license to fish with us --you are covered under the Gambler's registry.
