There was BLUEFISH action on a couple of drifts early in the day but it slowed up mid-morning. We then picked away at the SEA BASS for the remainder of the day.
The weather for Saturday and Sunday looks good for fishing so come on down and enjoy the day on the Golden Eagle.
We also still have spots open on the Saturday Night Bluefishing Trip - 7pm to 1:30am.
I just wanted to say thank you to Pete Myers from Run Off Lures who was on board yesterday. He gave every customer a “swag bag” of goodies which included several different types of sea bass rigs along with a 6 pack of “leadered” sea bass hooks and a couple of different jigs which could be used for Blues, Bonito or Sea Bass. The retail value of the tackle was over $30.00. See pictures of the tackle below. We know the Sea Bass rigs work because there is a picture of Pete with a triple header and several Blues/Bonito were caught on the jigs.
Maybe I can convince Pete to take a Striper trip in November with us because Run Off Lures has a great line of Striper tackle!
