Hey gang, it felt great to be back out on the water after missing a few days because of the weather. There was a little bit of a swell on the water left over. It took four locations for us to finally find fluke and sea bass. Did a lot of searching and riding. But we did find non-stop action on short fluke with some really nice keepers in the mix and some big knuckleheads. The ocean has laid down nice with no heave which will be great for the rest of the week. John from Point Pleasant is leading the daily pool with somewhere in the 4-5 lb. class. Antony fishing the stern has a contender to match that fish. I'll post pics on the way in. The ocean is going to be beautiful tomorrow. We have guys coming back down. We will be fishing all week. Come on down and don't miss out. Sailing every day 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Fare is $90. We have everything else on the boat that you would need. Sure was a fun day out on the water. Thanks, Capt. Scott

Captain Scott good to see you found some life after the blow.

Question for you. You see a lot of summer flounder pictures where the bottoms are pure white. You also see maybe not as many but enough where their underside is marked up with red blotches like in the pictures posted today. I've heard different theories about that. From it's fish moving in from offshore, rough weather like we've had of late causing an abrasion on their underside, a reaction to the habitat they're staging in etc. Curious what you thoughts are if it means anything.
