Yesterday's 12 hour Taugathon started out a bit slow but gradually the bites got better as the day went on. The fish were taking greens and whites and clams. Baits didn't seem to matter as much as being at the right place at the right time, since the fish seemed to hold in a few areas of the wrecks. We also saw a couple cod, a small pollock, a big ling and a huge porgy. The sharpies were able to manage 2 or 3 keepers up to 5 lbs.
Gambler's 10am till 3pm trip today was slower. Constantly changing conditions made for tougher fishing.
Tomorrow and Thursday is a wash-out.
