Me, Jake, Mike, Chrisper and Arty fished on the Mimi today and it was fairly slow. Some decent short action to keep you interested but keepers were hard to come by. Our group represented pretty well. Although me and Art got blanked on keepers, Crisper was high hook on the boat with 4 keepers. Mike and Jake had one keeper each and Jake got the one that counted for the pool, a nice 5 or 6 lb roaster. Seems like the jigs out produced the rigs and the fish showed no real preference for white or green crabs.
Captain Brandon and the mate Jake worked their tails off for what we got and even kept us out late hoping for some more action but it never materialized. Thanks for taking such good care of us guys.

Yep and it's seems like this year there's no real difference if you run way north or way south. The fish are still fairly inshore too so I wonder if a cold snap might help us. I dunno, that's blackfishing and hard to beat a 50 degree day on the water with your buds.
