Hah yeah we like to have fun ith it, but it seems people can't just say "oh that's not my prefered method" or "I don't like doing that" they gotta try to make themselves feel big I guess haha

Catching big stripers from the shore by myself, in the middle of the night with nobody around is much more rewarding to me than all the ones I've caught on my boat. You obviously feel differently about it but that is your prerogative.
