Gambler did very well again yesterday on big striped bass. Most were oversized and released. But we did catch a good percentage of slot fish yesterday and most of the guys had some fillets to bring home. We also had our first couple of slot fish (24 to 28" of the season). We should start to see more keeper-slots and bonus slots as the water cools each day.
The fish are crashing swim shads and spoons. We are also catching on live bunker, which we snag on-board.
The amount of sea-life up-and-down our coast right now is incredible! Whales, sea birds, bunkers, porpoises --and of course, stripers are all over the place!
Tomorrow's trip is full.
