WHAT A GREAT DAY OF STRIPER FISHING!! There were plenty of fish in the bait and NICE BIG STRIPERS caught on bait and shads. The fish were spread up and down the beach and we had action all day long.
We have a charter tomorrow, Friday, so we will not be open to the public.
The weather for the weekend will be gorgeous for November with temps in the 60’s and sunny. NOW IS THE TIME TO COME STRIPER FISHING.
Check out today’s pictures, make your reservations and we will see you this weekend.
6:30AM DEPARTURE.
TIME TO MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS FOR THE OFFSHORE GIANT SEA BASS TRIPS!
THE OFFSHORE GIANT SEA BASS TRIPS BEGIN SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2ND. These trips depart at 7:00pm and return around 2:00 pm the next day. On these trips, a rod and reel set up that has a 40 lb. braid test line with a 30 lb. mono top shoot and leader is the preferred type of equipment. Remember, we will be fishing in 150 to 200 feet of water and the currents may be strong so your rod needs to be able to accommodate 16 to 18oz. sinkers. We primarily use bait for these fish. Generally, we fish the wrecks between 50 and 80 miles offshore. These trips are limited and reservations are required
The GOLDEN EAGLE sails every day for STRIPERS & BLUES at 6:30 am from Belmar Marina in Belmar, NJ.
