NLBN question

My understanding is these are all the new rage. What are you guys using? 6”? 8”? Paddle tail? Straight tail? Favorite colors? Just wondering what’s been working for you guys.

My understanding is these are all the new rage. What are you guys using? 6”? 8”? Paddle tail? Straight tail? Favorite colors? Just wondering what’s been working for you guys. I used one today for the first time. White paddle tail 2 oz. I did okay with it. I had better luck with a Storm Shad.

I used chartreuse NLBN in the spring and had success. So far I haven’t strayed from live bunker this fall.

Both my son and I had great success using both the 5 & 8 inch versions (mainly in chartreuse but did catch on the white) with bass up to in excess of 40 inches.

What I like about them is the fact that you can place them different size/weight jigs heads. This allows you to go heavier/lighter depending on depth/current.

Fish them as you would a swim shad.

I see no reason why they wouldn’t work in the fall.

My son and I were talking earlier this week about trying the NLBN Mullet as after watching on videos on YT it looks as if it would make an excellent topwater presentation-especially when the bass are blowing up on surface baits.

As a side note, I did really well using the 3 inch NLBN on light jigheads for fluke fishing the beach and back bays.
