Headed out this morning with a few of my friends from The Multispecies Mayhem Podcast crew. My goal was to put them on some Little Tunny! As soon as I got out the bay it was a stiff NE wind and outgoing tide, Not good for my 20fter. Got around the tip of the hook and it was just too rough and decided to turn around. The first time I had to do that this year. I was bummed. I wanted Albies but it is what it is. So now what? I went into search mode in the bay for bass. I saw a birds working and it was game on. Swirling bass feeding on peanuts. We had a fairly good day catching them. A good steady pick. The rain came in the early afternoon it was time to go back to the barn. It looks like it's going to be a good fall season for Stripers. We will see! Tight Lines.
