Gambler's half day fluke trips have been good overall. Catching keeper fluke and sea bass together on the same drifts. This morning was tough for catching fluke because there was a lack of drift --but keeper sea bass helped us out. Just wish we had a bigger bag limit on those. Pool winners are generally fluke between 4 and 5lbs. Haven't seen many doormats since the spring. The slot size has actually helped us put a catch together most trips.
Gambler's Nite Wreckin' trips have been good. The catch constantly changes weekly, which keeps it exciting. This past week we saw a lot more bluefish. Besides the 1 to 5lb blues, our customers landed keeper sea bass and some good sized ling. The night trips have been a fun adventure most nights --we never know what will be caught or seen under our powerful underwater lights.
