Through the many years of fishing and boating, I have come to understand the term " Five Ft. Fever " When you first get a boat, usually a smaller one, it occurs to you that you can do so much more with a larger boat, like travel , fish in bigger water, take more friends with you, etc.
I have had a wonderful life on my boats, first a canvas covered kayak in the 1950's, then a 14 Ft. runabout, a 21 Ft. center console in the 1970's , a 30Ft. Egg Harbor that my wife and I bought each other as a wedding gift. ( very cool wedding gift.), an 18 Ft. power catamaran, Some tin boats along the way, and lastly a 2007 Parker 23SE that I have had for the last several years.
I guess that I understand five ft. fever, and loved each one of those boats. It is a sad time that I am selling my Parker, which is a great boat and 100% suits my needs, but given my abilities at my age, selling is the right thing to do.
I advertised it in Craigslist NJ/ Jersey Shore and in the Classic Parker site. If anyone wants a very good boat, you can check it out there, I will still be fishing, and enjoying NJFishing.com as long as I live. Thank you......Papa
