Looking at the conditions, we flew out to the East this morning right off the bat. We felt the need for speed and got there in only 1 hour and 10 minutes. We had some very nice people out with us again today. We slugged away all day. Had a couple of real good drifts in the afternoon. We had limits on the boat today, not a lot but the guys who knew how to catch them caught them! We did very good with the sea bass again. It’s just a shame that after everyone catches one, we have to release them. But, I’m not complaining at least we get to keep one each for the customers. Better than nothing. We ended the day with close to 20 keepers and 80 or 90 short fluke released. Kudos to Joe, Sr. and Matt they were working real hard because we were fishing the sticky bottom, helping the people and tying rigs. They did a fine job. As I posted in my report yesterday, we have a new leader, Jack Pauer for the monthly and seasonal pool with 5.8lber. We had the big one at the beginning of the season 11.2, but that was a monthly winner. You can talk to the crew about getting into the monthly and/or seasonal pool when you are out on the boat. Every day is different. I had a fun day on the water today. We’ll see you in the morning.
