Went out late morning and did not see much in the bay at 45 deg water so went way up the river to 56 deg water and found lots of marks but no bites.
Came back out and saw birds working in flats off of Keyport. Pulled up and saw bass all over the column and even rolling in bunches on top. It was drop and catch with flutter spoons, shads, and just about anything for an hour. Kept our legal limit for our local restaurant to cook up.
