First fish of 2023 is……………. 1/1/23

Bounced around with another NJFer on an old stretch of river that’s been through some changes. Water looked good but a hair above normal and stained. Threw the plug on a strangely warm January 1st. Got slammed by a beautiful Tiger Trout to kick the New Year off right. Fish fought well and dug deep in the fast deep water. This would be the only fish of the day however. Visited some other spots but they were way worse then our starting point. TIGHT LINEZ and good luck this year! :D

Those tigers are cool fish, that as good of a start as anybody could ask for. sure beats the skunk;) Nice work eddie.
