The Gambler was on an offshore sea bass trip yesterday. It took a full day but we wound up with a good catch of big sea bass. Most guys had 10 or 12, a few guys managed to catch their limit. We had a few porgies, pinfish, bluefish, a pollock and a weakfish. We are only making 3 more offshore sea bass trips this December and trips are limited, so book soon.

The Gambler will be out for striped bass tomorrow (Weds). Looks like the weather will get nicer as the day goes on. Rain is supposed to stop by 9am but bring your rain gear, just in case. You can sign-up on line or just show up at the dock tomorrow --since we are very light.

We will have virtually everything you need on board.

Hope to see you.

Great action on the bass front for the first part of the morning yesterday in the fog. Even had a big 41 incher amongst the keepers and slots. Boat limit for anglers working spoons. Even I caught some fish!!

When the jig swims right the bass will bite! West Coast old school brown bait(Sardine color Salas I have more). We finished off the Seabass from Monday so now I either fill the gap by catching Stripers or go back out for more Seabass. Descisions, descisions. Or maybe both!!!

Hooker Rich gave me a bunch of those TADY's years ago and I finally cleande up on one. Mid-size brown and for gosh sakes people if you use trebles and land fish in nets, pinch the barbs down!! Bring more Ole Pedro!! Looks like its a no-go on Sea Bass this week.

Cut off the trebles and replace them with siwash open eyes or single assist hooks. Wahoo specials come with single hooks on welded rings.
