Seems like anything I’ve tried that has more insulation is too bulky. 2 things that find that works best. If your hands get wet you’re screwed so no matter what gloves you have on I usually wear the thin plastic gloves beneath them this way if I take my hands out of the gloves to tie a knot, cut a crab, etc my hands don’t get wet. Next is hand warmer packets and often time unless its really cold I can get away with thin plastic gloves and a packet in the palm of my hand.

GLOVES::: I'd not suggest anything neoprene, Man, that material gets COLD !!
I wear (40+ years) fingerless POLARTEC (Brand name, PACIFIC FLY GROUP)
Good LUCK finding a pair. I know I bought mine at HARRY'S ARMY NAVY
Bordentown. Long closed. Great place for work and outdoor FUN clothing.

Go on ebay. 12 pairs brown jersey cotton work gloves $13.50. Wear a pair, when they get wet throw them in a plastic bag and put on another. When you get home put out to dry or throw in the washer.

FRUGAL is right about them brown jersey gloves. I'm a carpenter 52 years and
have many bags of dozen. They double up nicely also.
Them green gloves I pictured, even wet are warm. Now I'm gonna order three more pair, that I know FACT, will out live me. I see my Little Brother wearing them in MOHAWK PIX. Maybe He knows where to purchase. He doesn't answer phone when I call. I always need something for free from Him. lol

For warmth try silk gloves next to your skin underneath your outer pair.

i despise fishing with gloves and won't do it, so i'll often over layer my top section with an ice fishing jacket and keeping your upper body and arms extra warm helps keep your hands warm too. you can also get heated wrist bands or tuck hot hands packs under wrist sweat bands near your palms to help keep your hands warm without having anything actually on your hands.
you can also do the constant hot hand pack in the pockets rotation left to right i guess haha

Pay attention FFTFMEN AND WOMEN, look up Moxa heat packs and get a box to try, like 3xs as large as hot hands and great deal…and hot, not warm, get a box and tell me I’m wrong…
