Saturdays boiling bay of Stripers! 10/22

Got out with Cap’n Mikey Topaz early Saturday morning. Stripers we’re on our mind! Took the ride out trying to avoid the fleet, that was impossible. There is way too many boats out there for sure. Scary stuff! Anyway the Bass were on top smashing bait when we arrived. First fish came in a spoon however. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the water boiling and said Mike, take that thing off and throw something on top. Game on! We both threw SP Minnows and Shads once the fleet sent the fish back down. They came up and down in a circle til they finally went deep a few hours later and stayed deep. Boat traffic and guys driving through the schools destroyed the bite. Despite the traffic we had double headers on the Stripers for about 3 hours straight. Fish ranged from 28-36ish inches. Good times out there with excellent catching. Where in the hell did all these boats come from? Holy Moly! I’m going to hide and catch Stripers in a river somewhere. Lol! TIGHT LINEZ!!!:D
