dirty jersey jungle pike and a surprise kitty

got muddy as hell solo and with Nick, while he was back from upstate ny, hunting pike last couple of weeks. our efforts produced some decent fish and even a handful of double ups, but no real monster sized ones yet.

also did a quick after work troll session with luke last week. while i was waiting for him, I hooked up with a lengthy channel cat that fought well enough for me to think it was something much bigger, definitely wasn't thinking catfish as i was trolling plugs at around 2.5mph not really near the bottom, so kudos to this kitty haha.

also bagged a few big crappie all on trolled plugs. After luke jumped in, he cursed my boat and we went a long while without any bites. Finally towards the end of the short trip we got two runoffs, but only one stayed buttoned up (I don't have that picture so lukey will have to tag it onto here if he wants)
