Excellent Fishing Wednesday!
Sailing 7:30AM
FRIDAY & SATURDAY NIGHT 7:30PM
WEDNESDAY REPORT 7/20/22
Fishing was very good again today!
Fishing was good right from the start! We were catching loads of mackerel and some sea bass on our first drop.
The good fishing lasted until 11AM.
We looked around and located another large school and caught fish until the end of the day.
Everyone caught plenty of mackerel and Sea Bass.
The pool winner was:
Kyan Tuminay-Manuel from Clark NJ with a 3 lb sea bass.
If you're looking to take the family for a fun day of fishing, you won't find any more action than what we've had lately.
It has been consistently good fishing.
This past week we caught a 46" Cobia, a few bonito and saw a number of sharks chasing the mackerel.
NIGHT TRIPS FRIDAY & SATURDAY NIGHT 7:30PM.
Our last night trip was Saturday night and we had a good catch of mackerel with some sea bass and ling mixed in.
The Jamaica is sailing every day at 7:30AM. Some days we may catch more blues, other days more mackerel, sea bass, ling, etc.
Lately it has been more mackerel.
Sea bass are open again for two per person. Many of the spots we are fishing hold sea bass.
There are blues in the area but some days they're harder to catch than others so we go to wherever we think we will do the best for the day.
For the past week it has been Southeast, and chumming.
Fishing has been good everyday for almost 2 weeks in the same area.
