Surf fluke

Down the shore for a week. Neighbor who lives here year round said he's been catching fluke in the surf here in Seaside which is unusual this time of year. Went swimming in the ocean. Constant bait fish in the surf. They never stopped. I think they were spearing but they were moving too fast to tell. Too skinny for killies. Guess the fluke are chasing them.

Fluking from the surf has been very good the past few summers with last year being on the best. This year has been very good to date as well. And I’m not talking just short fluke, plenty of 20+ inch have been taken from the suds.

Keep moving and fish the holes until you find them, alot of the bites are coming right on the beach lip. Good luck.
