FISHERMEN/RIP Sarge
It is with much sadness once again I have to report another awesome man has passed. "Sarge" as everyone knew him or (Charlie) his real name left us yesterday after a long battle with Prostate cancer. Charlie was a retired army vet, short in stature but big in heart.
His first trip ever with me 14 years ago, it was pouring rain, he had been a customer on another boat, the boat didn't sail that day, he came with me, caught the largest Fluke of his life at 11 pounds under the Verannzano bridge the rest was History.......He had a voice like Ricky Riccardo, every-time he came down he would give me a hug and in that voice say "I love you Baby". Probably the only customer I would ever let do that! His flamboyance was subtle but lovable.
I Salute you Sarge for your Service & Friendship all these years.
Until we fish again my Friend..........Capt. Ron
