Today the fishing was kinda slow due to conditions but most days have been good!
Getting catches of big sea bass with some ling and a few keeper fluke everyday. We can catch all 3 species on the same spots.
Best to use a short dropper loop 10" above the sinker with a straight 2/0 hook or an un-weighted bucktail and a longer, 12" TO 36" Leader below the sinker to hook fluke and ling.
80% of the time, we are drifting but if the wind gets t be too, much, we'll anchor up over some ruffage.
Starting this weekend, the Gambler will switch over to half-days, every day, leaving at 8AM and returning by 12:30 and from 2PM till 6:30.
For the time being, we are limiting the boat to just 1/2 capacity for your comfort and enjoyment. Reservations are suggested --but during the week, you may be able to just "walk-on" since it is less busy.
Hope to see you aboard
