Took a mental health day today. Got a little bit of a late start, had to get some gas for the boat. Finally got on the troll around 9:00ish and with 5 minutes had my first bass on. She was a piggy! Biggest bass I’ve ever caught. Beautiful fish. Easily 7 or 8 inches past the 39 inch tape and fat. Quick picture and release. Trolled around for another 30 minutes and got my second bass. Way past the tape measure again. Wind kicked up a little and that was it for the troll. Tried fluking a bit but no love. Headed back to barn, beer, boat cleaning, great trip. Hope they stick around a little while longer.
