Headed out with my buddy Matt and his friend Jake after work and experienced the most insane striper bite i've ever witnessed! I've really never seen anything like this with fish all in this XL size range... I've seen it plenty of times with normal sized fish, but there were no stripers under 42 inches in the whole area, and they were enraged! We just stopped using the net and taking pictures after a while haha.

we started off trolling and brought 8 cows to the boat. after that we started jigging and between the 3 of us, landed around 2 dozen stripers from 42" to 51", heaviest one weighed 48lbs on the boga. we had tons more missed strikes/body slams and unbuttoned fish and even had a few on poppers as well... here's some fish porn:

For the jigging portion yes, the magnum 9” ones in silver varieties… when we reeled them in they’d swarm like schoolies but they were all 42”+ size… crazy to see
