A new season begins!!

Decided to do some striped bass fishing today to start off the season. Headed out of MCM and was greeted on the bay with a steady west wind. Headed out to the edge of Raritan Reach and found some good marks on my FF but only one hit the whole day. I saw very few fish caught on the party and private boats that where jigging. The guys trolling seemed to be doing better. I gonna blame my lack of luck on the cold front and full moon tide but I'm sure some sharpies did well. I guess get the skunk off on the first trip and it will be great fishing the rest of the year. We will see about that!! Tight lines!

It was even low and kicking up mud at the floating docks for the rack boats. I thought they dredged it last year? Yes it a full moon tide but... They defiantly need to dredge it again!
