Open water fishing

Caught and released 6 white perch and 2 yellow perch to 9” with 1/32 oz Big Eye jigs and Gulp on 2 lb test line in 40 degree Carnegie Lake this evening.

Tis the season to get the panfish during ice out. Nice Perch fish! :D

Caught and released 11 white perch, a black crappie and two white catfish to 14” this afternoon in the same spot in the rain. Water temp was 46 degrees. 12 other fishermen were nearby. Wind was strong south. Water was murky. Rowers were on the lake.
