Last minute trip to St Pete area this week. Would love to do a day of fishing as part of this trip. Can anyone here recommend a guide in that area that I can possibly call to check availability?
Anything to stretch the line or get some table fare would be great.
Thanks!

If you want a party boat, several in Tarpon Springs, I think I was on a Dolphin boat and with non stop grunts last February, but but my best trip was on the Double Eagle in Clearwater. The captain worked hard to get away from grunts and on snappers. Less fish, but better eating and more than enough for 4 people that night. Light tackle.
Across from the boats are little restaurants that will cook your catch. I recommend a weekday.

Skyway Bridge offers some good fishing, too, if you plan to bring gear with you. grouper, snapper, spanish mackeral, trout, etc. Sabiki up some pinfish and hold on!
