I currently have a Terez Heavy spinning rod with a Saragosa 10K with #65 braid. I can safely put 12 lbs of drag on the rod. I dont really care to jig with a spinner and want to get a conventional. Im going to leave the terez rigged with a top water popper. I was looking at a Shimano Ocea reel. Im leaning towards a 5'5 rod so I can really put the heat to the fish. Im going to check out the offerings at Reel Seat as well as Saltywater tackle. What are your suggestions?

I use the Shimano Game Type J spinning rod with a 14k twin power spooled with #65 max quattro. The conventional 5'6 xh is a sick stick. Max lure weight of 350g. Could prob drop down to the heavy model and still have more than enough backbone to put the heat on the midshore fish weve been getting the last few years. You'll have no problem decking a 60" bluefin or #80 class yft.

I was also looking at the Centuar rods on saltywater tackle. From what I understand they only sell premo stuff there. Im def going to check out both store.

Centaur rods are also really nice. I have a Centaur popping rod I've yet to hook up on. Check out the game type Js though. Light as a feather and super strong
