DONE
They want our money but we can't use their beach.
Never mind habitat destruction.

Done I am tired of buying sand to watch it migrate off shore just to be mined and resold year after year. Stop the Madness.

They have been dredging sand off the tip off the hook for a while now. I guess that's all the sand that being washed up from down south. It's like a never ending process! I signed!

BigFishy (that's a great screen name by the way) done and done. Basic problem with politicians is it's not their money. How they spend it is less important than what they get in return. Beach replenishment is important but any temporary fix is a complete waste of taxpayers money. Come up with a permanent solution and they can pass a bill for quadruple the funds but until they do, all these bills are doing is throwing good taxpayer money after bad and when the question is asked who was responsible for this wasteful spending the people driving these agendas will be long gone in the rear view mirror.

Thanks for posting!

Done! I mostly fish the Lavallette area and it looks like next year they are scheduled to do beach replenishment once again. Last time they did this in 2019 was the worst summer of fishing I can remember. No shells, no crustaceans, no signs of life in the surf. I didn’t catch a single fluke off my stretch of beach all summer. Took at least a year for the beach to bounce back.

Dreading starting the process over again and disrupting the current ecosystem. Total waste of tax payer money.
