Tried a New area this morning, with the last of the incoming and the same conditions as yesterday, I didn't want to waste too much time in the back bay.
Got to the area and had Bass busting on top, all around the boat. We tossed everything you could imagine at them to only pick at the Bass....Several went back, a bunch we kept. It was pretty much Run & Gun all day, some bit others didn't.
We found some Big babies in deeper water and had it all to ourselves for a couple drifts. A couple good shots late in the day when the fish came back up....Gotta work it hard to get it done.
I'll post this again so everyone is prepared on what to bring:
For Ocean fishing, Jigs 47's, 67's for fishing in the current. 47 with tails (We have the 47's-67's & Shads aboard). A bunker snag, a set up to fish with the Bunker. Medium action Spinning Rod is Best , NO NOODLE RODS!
Toss out away from the boat, hit the bottom and turn the dam handles! Thank you. See you in the AM
7:30am till 2:30pm Fare is $80 Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down.
