Last year this day, I posted how I couldn't have wanted a better Birthday present with the bite we had!
Today, it was like someone Blew out the candles on me, especially after yesterdays fishing!
Waited patiently for some outgoing current, caught a couple fish right away in the AM, read the bait but it was also very tough trying to maneuver between all the boats. (Not looking forward) to the next three days!
Looked out in the Ocean and that was a bust. Came back inshore, found the Bunker at the end of the tide, caught a handful of fish with the live baits and shads but it was not good by any means.
Waited till the end of the tide as the bait started to act up, hoping I could pull the Rabbit out of the hat but it didn't happen. Couple Handful of Keepers with a couple through backs to end the day.
FISHING!!! Back at it tomorrow.....
