It looks like This Sunday will be our first Striped Bass trip. Sailing daily 7:30am-2:30pm. Fare is $80. Open boat, No Reservation just come on down.
As you know the weather has been horrible to say the least the past week so not many reports to go bye.
The Ocean is nasty and I'm sure Sunday will be no different.I don't anticipate a bite there until the water temps get down some more.
We will focus on Jig & Shad fishing all around our bay and out to the Channels to start out. I would bring a nice medium action Spinning set up, no noodle rods!!
Also for the Tackle Box, a Light & Heavier Shad, eel rig (just in case), a couple 5/0 Circle hooks, a snag in case we find schools of Bunker, a Top water plug, Crocs. We have Ava 27's & 67's and Crocs on board if needed.
These are the things you should have if you want to catch. I say it every season and it always falls on deaf ears. Many days we had Bass busting on top where they would only hit a top water plug, our guys took pictures because they weren't prepared.
Hoping for a Nice Fall Run,
Capt. Ron
