9/12 REPORT…..

Got a late call to join some buds on the Parker Pete Express today. Since my ride was staying racked with the small craft warning, I jumped on.

Evil ocean at first light but was actually able to hold with 8 oz BT’s and some scope. Slow slow bite. Picked and picked but nothing really got going. BT’s coming up cold from the bottom. Wind dropped some 1030-11 made it a little more comfortable but bite didn’t improve.

Ended up with 2, one being a fat 25 incher. Some with 2, some with 1 and few skunks.

First time on Parker. Nice ride. Captain and mate worked their asses off. Good stuff.

Nice job.

I was on the Tow boat in the blow and tucked in near the approach buoys to Leonardo State Marina on the hook to get the lee.

I had two party boats doing drifts around me for hours- AS and SH until I left for a job off Keansburg. They did not look too busy with their nets either. :(


Nasty day!! Did get a little useless doggy fishing to break up my monotony until leaving for a Keansburg gas drop.

Nice one Duff. I went togging on PPExpress last year,impressed. Hopefully the Fluke are still around, never give up!
