Late start due to work so got started at noon to catch the incoming.
After the storm the bay water was as bad as I have ever seen it. Brown water is an understatement. Literally mud. Widowmakers everywhere. And I’m not talking branches I’m talking whole trees! Dead/dying bunker for miles.
Headed East to finally find a little cleaner water at Scotland. Couldn’t get anything going. Picked at shorts, couple cbass released and the first jumbo blowfish of the season for us. Called it quits after a short 4 hour trip. Kept 1 at 18 and the puffer for dinner.
Brighter (orange) worked best. Water temps pretty consistent at 69-70 everywhere we went.
Tough to get a read on whether the fish are still here as we just sucked at it today.
