Left to marina @ 7am to be greeting by some chocolate colored bay water. My plan was to head down the beach to find some cleaner water. Started inshore at the SBR's and caught a mess of heathy 17.5" shorts and one keeper. Had a hunch to hit a area offshore I call "The Promised land" and took a ride. Once we got there the water was very clean and fairly calm. Started fishing some snags and hard bottom in 70' of water and it was game on! My friend John and I both wound up with our limits of nice fat 19-21" Fluke plus a few sea bass which went back. Pretty much steady action all day and beautiful weather. It doesn't get much better! Get out there they are biting! Tight Lines!
