Almost 7 inches of rain here in Edison... Looks like the coastal areas didn't get as much... Dealing with some water in the basement this morning but nothing compared to what others are dealing with. Hope everyone is OK and didn't have too much damage.

I am in Middlesex. We had near 10 inches of rain. I now live on an island. No water in the house, but it is all around us. We were lucky. I alway hoped that when I retired, I would live on an island. I guess my dream should have been a bit more specific

Looks like most of the USGS gauges on the Raritan watershed got blown off their holders. Watching my hometown of Middlesex, really bad.
Only got a few T storms down by Toms River, hope everyone is okay.

My grandpa's farm in north branch got smacked, water in the whole first floor and basement. Pics are the field before and after the water receded while I was there, but it was almost 10 ft higher the night before. Hope everyone is safe!

The Rahway river system has wreaked havoc on parts of Kenilworth, Cranford and the rest of Union county. Lucky to live a couple inches away from the flood zone. We got very lucky. My neighbors have to redo the lower floors of there homes for the 3rd or 4th time in 20 years. Unreal the power of water. Biblical amount of rain in a short amount of time. Hope everyone here is safe and well. Tight LINEZ NJF family!!!:D

Eddie heard Cranford got hammered. Hard to believe a storm which made landfall in Louisiana had that much energy and rain left after traveling over land as far as it did to cause the damage it has in this area and New England. Incredible power, and there's pilots who fly through these storms! I hope they get hazard pay!

a little late to the party, but these pics are from a few days ago (thurs, 9/2) near/at the entrance of saddle river park near lodi
crazy to see the area completely flooded over and very curious to see what permanent changes to certain spots the storm brought
while i was there checking things out, by chance ended up watched this poor guy drive his new truck into the floodwaters and immediately get stuck
"dont be stupid."
hope everyone is recovering ok!
