Almost 7 inches of rain here in Edison... Looks like the coastal areas didn't get as much... Dealing with some water in the basement this morning but nothing compared to what others are dealing with. Hope everyone is OK and didn't have too much damage.

Middlesex NJ, lost power around 10 last night, couple of inches of water in basement, using old bilge pump with battery and hose to drain, basement. Generator wired into service panel so pretty much normal, have well do need power, at least unlike sandy it is warm and do not need heat. Yes a lot of people in a lot worse shape and there is fatalitys. Hope everyone stays safe and recover from this storm, just let's you know a bad day of fishing is ok !

Was working in it all nite in middlesex county. Was some of the wildest $hit I can remember. Definitely worse than Irene and pretty damn close to Floyd. Abandoned cars everywhere.
Back home in the am in Monmouth county and not as bad. 35 a complete mess and 36 had its bad spots. Seemed like closer to the coast you got the less the effects were felt.
I’m rack stored so all good there. Hope you wet slip guys fared well. I can’t imagine pumps keeping up with what I saw coming down last nite. Be safe all.

Had a short down pour around 8:30 in the morning in Brick then nothing rest of the day. Wind picked up to 25-35 from the south in the late afternoon/early evening. Pushed a lot of water into our lagoon with the incoming tide. Checked on the boat in the back yard around 8:15 PM and it was the highest I had ever seen it. Spring lines were extremely taught. Checked tide chart and saw that high tide was at 8:30 and the wind was to swing NW around midnight. Had a good thunderstorm that started around 10:30 that was done by midnight. Checked the boat & yard this morning with no damage noticed.

Here in central NY state, we dodged the bullet.. Just some moderate rain in this area... mid PA. which is only an hour and a half ride south got nailed hard as well as NJ. We were just north of the mayhem this time..... bob
