Gambler did not fish this weekend due to poor sea conditions.
We were back at it this morning. The action was kinda slow. Caught some short fluke and a handful of keepers. Some sea bass too.
On our night trips this weekend, we caught sea bass and bluefish. Not too many ling. For the guys that tried squid fishing, it was excellent. Matt had landed roughly 100 nice sized on squid jigs. We are not carrying squid gear, so bring your own or pick some squid jigs up on your way to the boat, if you want to try for them. The entire bottom of the Gambler is lit-up with under water lights, which draws squid and other bait-fish in from a long distance.
