Good Bluefishing!
Sailing Tonight 7:30PM
The weather looks good! Space Available
Saturday Sunday and Monday 7:30AM
We had another good day today with nice sized blue fish and
limits of sea bass.
We have space available on all trips and the forecast is for light
winds, so the seas should be calm.
Tilefish
Our last tile trip was so good we have added another one leaving
10:00 p.m. August 30th
It started out a little slow in the morning but as the day went
on fishing kept getting better.
At one point we had double headers coming over the rail
non-stop.
One target We were seeking on this trip was a record breaking
blueline tilefish. (The current state record is 23 lb 4 oz)
We thought we had several candidates on one drift when five big
Bluelines came over the rail.
The biggest one was caught by
Ed Pax from Palmar Pa weighing 24 lb on one scale and 22 on another.
Unfortunately, when we returned to the dock the official weight
on the certified scale was 22 lbs. still a great catch.
In addition to Blue line tile and golden tile we also caught
some rose fish, and some white hake.
