Got out for an afternoon of Fluking with the usual suspects since Mom made my brother take us 😂 Mix of shorts and 8 keepers for the 4 of us, biggest was 21 inches and many right on the line. Gulp and bucktails and white was the hot color and a lot of fish took the bucktail instead of the teaser for some reason. The water quality right now is really amazing as clean as I can ever remember seeing it.

That east wind pushed in some real ‘good’ water. Hopefully it will bring in the bonito, spanish macs and albies.

Was just looking at my log this morning and last year on this date Jason and I combined to catch 4 spanish macs while fishing the wall inside Manasquan Inlet….haven’t heard of any caught inshore so far this year.

We might be making a trip to several of the lumps we caught inshore speedsters on last year this Saturday if the wind cooperates.

Well based on the satellite temps and chloro shots I’m seeing, I think you’ll be in for a great trip... The water right now is very warm for this time of year and really clear.
