Headed out of the marina this morning with the game plan of fishing the bay. The west wind made me decide to hit the ocean instead. Took a ride down to the SB Rocks to find the Belmar/PT Pleasant Fleet fishing the area for blues. Drifted a bit in shore and caught a few short Fluke and decided that conditions where right for a deeper water honey hole. The gamble paid off caught and released some real nice knuckleheads biscuits and got my limit of Fluke with the biggest close to 7lbs. We hade plenty of action and was back at the barn by 2. All fish where caught on 6" Gulp on a jig head in 60-70 ft of water. A great way to start off a season! Tight Lines!!
