A little bumpy on the way out this morning with the hard SW that blew last night.

Got the the first drop, read some life and picked away on the Sea Bass & Ling. Ocean started to lay down with the tide change, Sun came out and we had a good bite going.

At 11:30 one of the customers had a Medical Emergency, We got the Anchor up, called the CG and started heading in......

I have to give a Huge Thank you to the NYPD air Support, FDNY Marine 8 unit & the Coast Guard who met us on the way in within 20 minutes. We were well offshore when the Helicopter came astern of me and had 2 men repelling onto the boat!!!

Marine 8 came along side with the CG, another medical tech jumped onboard and within minutes the customer was transferred to the Hospital. The 2 Men from the helicopter were brought back up, I have a video but I don't know if I can load it..

The total professionalism of these Men made me proud to know they have our back!

God bless the FDNY Marine 8 unit, NYPD Air Support & the United States Coast Guard for always being there, you men & women are the best!!

Fathers Day tomorrow, please arrive early 6:30am-7:00am. Sea Bass Fishing, Open boat, No Reservations. Fare is $80.

Ron. Could not have said it better myself.

God bless and thank you to the first responders out there.

Capt. Ron. I hope all turns out well with your costumer. Sounds like you did a great job yourself under pressure. Nice job!

When you do what you do for decades it is not will something like this happen it is when! I hope it never happens but thank god for our Coast Guars and Police!!! Everyone that owns a boat should take a course in CPR and first aid.
